MONROE, La. – The Texas A&M University-Commerce women's golf team returned to action on Monday at the ULM Invitational hosted at the Bayou Desiard Country Club.
Michelle Becker (San Antonio – Reagan) leads the way for the Lions, being tied for 20
th with a score of 151 (77-74).
Henriette Stranda (Kraakstad, Norway) is tied for 24
th with a score of 152 (76-76), while
Benz Far-Arun (Bangkok, Thailand) is right behind Stranda, being tied for 26
th with a score of 153 (74-79).
To round out the Lions,
Marie Naeher (Neuenbuerg, Germany) is in 39
th place, posting a score of 157 (80-77) and
Jordan Dusckas (Flower Mound Marcus) is tied for 42
nd with a score of 159 (84-75).
A&M-Commerce sits in seventh place on the team leaderboard with a score of 609. ULM holds a 15-stroke lead over Sam Houston with a team score of 577. The Warhawks' Chantal Dueringer and Alessia Mengoni are tied for the lead with a score of 142.
The tournament closes out with a staggered start on Tuesday morning. Dusckas is in the first group teeing off at 7:45 a.m., while Becker is the final Lion to tee off at 8:17 a.m.
