Jade Washington are this week's Dixie Turman State Farm Agency Student-Athletes of the Week.
Erll (Lich, Germany) shot a score of 215 in three rounds last week at the Bubba Barnett Intercollegiate to tie for eighth, which was his first top 10 finish of the season. He helped the Lions record a third place finish at the tournament in Jonesboro, Arkansas, the best for the Lions in 2025-26.
The Lion men's golf team closes out the fall schedule at the LaTour Intercollegiate next week in Mathews, Louisiana.
Washington (Waco - Midway) led the Lions to a 1-1 week on the road as East Texas A&M won in three sets over New Orleans, while falling in four sets to two-time defending Southland Conference champion, Southeastern. She totaled 40 digs in seven sets, for an average of 5.71 digs per set and was also named the Southland Defensive Player of the Week on Monday.
The Lion volleyball team hosts Nicholls for the annual Pink Out match on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. and then plays at McNeese on Saturday at 11 a.m. to close out the week.
