IRVING – For the second straight year, the East Texas A&M University football team is among the top 10 programs in the NCAA Division I FCS for most graduates on its roster going into the 2025 season.
The National Football Foundation (NFF) and the College of Football Hall of Fame released a list of 3,675 student-athletes who have already earned their undergraduate degrees and will be playing college football this fall across the country, which is a new record. The Lions have 21 graduates on the 2025 roster.
Measuring across the college football landscape, the Lions' 21 graduates are second in the Southland Conference and it is tied for 10th in the FCS. Last season, the Lions had 21 graduates on the roster as well.
