COMMERCE – Jadin Jones and Koby-Sebasyen King from the East Texas A&M University football have been named to the Academic All-District team, as selected by the College Sports Communicators.
 
Jones (Killeen) and King (Houston – Summer Creek) are named to the CSC Academic All-District teams for the first time in their careers. East Texas A&M has had a football player earn Academic All-District honors for the second year in a row.  
 
Capping a Lion career in which he played in 44 games in his Lion career, Jones was part of the top scoring offense in the conference during the 2025 season and rushed 126.1 yards per game. He is a health kinesiology & sport studies major, while having been named to the SLC Commissioner's Honor Roll and being a President's List honoree.
 
King was named to the second team all-Southland following a 2025 season in which he totaled 113 tackles, 13.5 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks, and one forced fumble. He is also a SLC Commissioner's Honor Roll recipient and is a business administration major.
 
Based on evaluation from the Academic All-America committee, King has advanced to the Academic All-America ballot and will be considered for Academic All-America honors, which will be announced later this month.
