COMMERCE – East Texas A&M University basketball student-athletes Noah Pagotto and Cora Horvath have been named to the Academic All-District teams, as selected by the College Sports Communicators.
 
Pagotto (Wollongong, Australia) was named to the Academic All-District team on the men's side, being the first Lion men's basketball player to be named to the Academic All-District team since 2022-23 and third in the Division I era.
 
Horvath (Oberwart, Austria) is an honoree on the women's side, the first for the Lions since Jordyn Newsome last season and the second in the Division I era.
 
An electrical engineering major, Pagotto appeared in 32 games last season, averaging 10.4 points per game and 5.7 rebounds per game. He is a president's list scholar.
 
Horvath is a sport & recreation management major and a dean's list scholar. She started all 30 games last season with an average of 9.3 points per game, 3.2 rebounds per game, and 3.1 assists per game.
