2008:Named to the Lone Star ConferenceAll-Academic Team...saw action in 21 contests, earning startsagainst Texas A&M International (Sept. 20) and Midwestern State(Oct. 10)…recorded shots against St. Edward’s (Sept.26) and East Central (Nov. 2)…played a season-high 61minutes in the 2-1 win over Midwestern State…also sawextensive action against Dallas Baptist (Sept. 1), Harding (Sept.9), Texas A&M International (Sept. 20), St. Edward’s(Sept. 26) Central Oklahoma (Oct. 5) and East Central (Nov.2).

2007:Played and started all 21 matches atgoalkeeper for the Lions…recorded five shutouts and allowedjust one goal in five more matches…fifth in the Lone StarConference in saves (100)…sixth in the LSC and 88th in thenation in saves per game (5.0)…converted the winning kickand made the decisive save in the Lone Star Conference Tournamentquarterfinals win against Texas Woman’s (Nov. 1)…madea season-high 10 saves against Incarnate Word (Sept. 14) andCentral Oklahoma (Nov. 2).

2006:Played in 11 matches with threestarts...recorded a shot against St. Mary’s (Sept. 21)... sawaction in a season-high 105 minutes in the 3-2 double overtimevictory over Eastern New Mexico (Oct. 22). 

Prior toA&M-Commerce: A three-year starter at Southlake CarrollHigh School...made 42 saves as a senior in 12 games of action enroute to honorable mention all-district honors...also namedacademic all-district and all-state...team advanced to the regionalfinals as a senior...a member of student council and the SpanishClub in high school...played on the Texas Olympic Development Teamfor two years.

Personal:Born April 19, 1988...daughter of Paul andElsa Alvarado...sister, Michelle played for the Lions where she wasa second team all-Lone Star Conference selection in 2004 as asenior...a sports management major.
