Started six games at right tackle (Iowa State, K-State, Texas Tech, West Virginia, Oklahoma State, TCU) and appeared in seven (Arkansas) ... made his first career appearance, earning a start at right tackle, against Iowa State ... helped the offense post a season-high 512 total yards against Iowa State, while allowing Swoopes to be sacked just once in 36 pass attempts ... helped the offense post 469 yards of offense, including opening holes for the ground game which produced a season-high 241 rushing yards ... helped the offense rush for 227 yards, the second-best total of the season, against West Virginia ... helped the offense gain 430 total yards, including Swoopes’ third 300-yard passing game of the season (305), against Oklahoma State.

Born in Bad Nauheim, Germany, before moving to Fort Hood at age 2, then Louisiana at age 4 before returning to Fort Hood at age 10 … began playing football at age 11 … brother, Naashon, is a sophomore defensive end with the Longhorns ... active in community service, including reading to children, shopping for and wrapping Christmas presents and participating in field days at area elementary schools … enjoys drawing, painting and playing the saxophone, including winning an art competition when he was young ... majoring in applied learning and development with a minor in social work ... member of the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll (fall 2014).
