Arlington, Texas, Oct. 24 - Texas State Normal, outweighing Grubbs' Vocational College nearly twenty-five pounds to the man, defeated the latter here today, 8 to 0. Grubbs' open play several times made substantial advnaces against the ponderous Normals, but never threatened a touchdown. The Normals used old line tactics, ramming the line and running the ends and scored a touchdown in the first quarter and safety in the fourth. Farrar's fine defensive playing for Grubbs while Gernett, the fast quarter of the Normals, was the brightest star of the game. Gernett scored the lone touchdown.
