Arlington, Texas, Oct. 8 - Grubbs College football team defeated East Texas Normal College of Commerce this afternoon 14 to 12.

Grubbs played the next game, and won by mere chance. The "Lions" did not bow to the visitors at any time except once, when some one fumbled. The ball was in our territory only twice, and then luck went in favor of Grubbs. The visitors had a chance to get away for a touch-down on each fumble, and kicked one goal.
