A&M-Commerce takes to the road for the first time in conference play for three straight that starts in San Angelo and concludes with a trip to Portales, N.M. to take on Eastern New Mexico on January 15. The Lions were 3-7 on road last season in conference play.Â

SCOUTING THE RAMBELLES
Angelo State will face Texas Woman's on Saturday before taking on the Lions on Sunday. The Rambelles suffered a road loss to the #15 TexAnns of Tarleton State in their last game, 74-56. Angelo State has used a stingy defense in route to their 7-5 record so far this season. The Rambelles are fifth in the NCAA in soring defense (53.0), and 22nd in field goal percentage defense (34.8%). The one hole in the Angelo State defense is from behind the three-point line were they rank 177th in the NCAA in three-point defense (31.7).Â

The Aggies have not won since playing Brevard College (N.C.) in Anchorage, Alaska in the AT&T Hoops Classic on December 21. Cameron lost its conference opener to Eastern New Mexico in Portales and face West Texas A&M before playing the Lions on Wednesday. Cameron heads into this week with an 8-3 record but they have played the 252 toughest schedule in Division II. Cameron ranks third in the LSC in points per game (76.5) and fourth in scoring defense (59.8 ppg).Â

HARRIS CONTINUES TO GRAB DOUBLE-DOUBLES
Harris continues to put up great production despite the results on the scoreboard. Harris is averaging 17 points and 11.6 rebounds in 12 games so far. Harris has recorded double-doubles in seven of 12 games including two straight.Â

Breanna Harris is now second all-time in rebounding with 762 rebounds in her Lion career. Katedria Mosley is the all-time leader with 841 rebounds. Harris already owns two of the four best rebounding seasons in Lions history is now just 79 away from the record.Â
