DALLAS, TEXAS – The Lions Women's Golf team completed the final round of the Dallas Baptist Women's Classic today at the 5900 yard par 72 Golf Club of Dallas.
A&M-Commerce finished with a two- day team score of 673 and a 16th place finish out of 17 teams.
Zoey Daneshfar and
Emily Taylor both finished for a tie for 73rd place with a two-round score of 166. Daneshfar carded an 84 on the second day and Taylor shot her second consecutive 83.
Emily White had a two-day score of 169 and carded a round two 79 good enough for 74th place.
Celeste Emeott finished tied for 83rd place and had a second round score of 89.
Ali Leasor shot a two-day score of 177 and finished the second round carding a 91.
Host Dallas Baptist University won the tournament with a team score of 600. DBU was led by Sydney Williams who won the tournament shooting a four under par.
The Lions next tournament is the Oklahoma Invitational. It will be held on Sunday, October 19-21 at Fort Still Golf Course in Lawton, Oklahoma.
