OPENING TIP
A&M-Commerce will have a chance to pull even with Eastern New Mexico in the LSC standings with a win over the Zias. The Zias won the first meeting of the season between the two back in January in Portales. The Lions will then look to do something they have not done in a decade on Saturday when they make the trip west - win in Canyon versus the Lady Buffs.

SERIES SCORE
Eastern New Mexico holds a 31-24 advantage in the all-time series versus A&M-Commerce. The Lions are 4-1 in the last five meetings in Commerce with the only loss coming in the 2011-12 season. West Texas A&M has had A&M-Commerce's number no matter what year the two sides have faced off. The Lions have won just five times in 53 meetings in the series. The last A&M-Commerce win over the Lady Buffs was back in 2007 Lone Star Conference Tournament Championship Game in Commerce.

POSTSEASON POSSIBILITIES
The top 8 teams in the LSC standings make the LSC Tournament.
-The Lions hold the tie breaker over Cameron due to the two wins over them this year and will be seeded ahead of the Aggies.
 - A&M-C losses the tie-breaker with A&M-K because of the two losses this season. A&M-K would need to loss out and the Lions win one to move into seventh.
 -  A&M-C needs a win vs. ENMU on Wednes. to split the season series and hope that ENMU losses out to knock ENMU down to the 8th spot.
- Lions would most likely be the seventh seed if there is a 4-way tie at 4-12 at the end of the regular season.

Head Coach Nicole Anderson
Anderson enters her fifth season at the helm of the A&M-Commerce Lions women's basketball program. Expectations have been raised for Anderson and the Lions after last season's nine win improvement from '11-'12. The turn around also earned Anderon Co-Coach of the Year for the Lone Star Conference a season ago.
