CANYON, Texas – The A&M-Commerce soccer team suffered their first conference loss on Sunday, falling 2-1 to West Texas A&M on the road. The Lions now stand at 6-4-2 overall, including a 2-1-2 mark in Lone Star Conference action.

Neil Piper Turning Point - 11 minutes into the game, Khadidra Debesette found a ball loose in the box and shot from eight yards out, converting her seventh goal of the season.
Summary- WT's Rachel Herring added another score 12 minutes later with a long shot over the top of the defense. Karyn Forbes was credited with the assist.
- In what has become typical Lion fashion, A&M-Commerce got on the board with a 54th minute corner kick from LSC leading scorer
Vicky Back.
Taylor Rhodes was on the other end, and her header gave her the first score of her senior year.
