COMMERCE, Texas – The Lion soccer team is set to take on St. Edward's on Sunday in Austin in a battle of NCAA South Central Regional opponents. The Lions enter play at 7-4-2, while the Hilltoppers are 8-3-0 this season.

- The Hilltoppers claim a slight 7-6-1 advantage all-time against A&M-Commerce, including a 2-2-1 mark at Lewis-Chen Family Field.
- The longest winning streak in series history is four. The Lions won four straight from 2002-2006, while St. Edward's has won each of the last four meetings.

- Junior forward Savannah Grasser recorded her first career hat trick in Thursday's win over TWU. Grasser's third goal came by way of a penalty kick, and she is now a perfect 5-5 in her career.
- Ashley Phillips found the net for the other score, the second of her Lion career. Phillips became the eighth A&M-Commerce player to score a goal this season.
- According to the NCAA, Lion opponents to date have a winning percentage of .613, giving the Lions the fifth-most difficult schedule in the country.
- Against non-conference teams from the state of Texas this season, the Lions are 1-2-0, outscoring opponents 4-3 in that span.
