The Lions end their three-match losing streak with a 3-0 sweep against the St. Edward Hilltoppers.

Turning Point
Late in the third set, the Lions went on a big six point run to finish off the Hilltoppers. In that run, Summer Alford and Sydney Reyes each had two kills and Courtney Tate added a kill herself.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Set 1
The Lions walked off of the floor of the first set with a 25-13 victory; their first since October 3. In a team effort, five different players had at least three kills and as a team had 16 total kills to St. Edwards five. The Lions finished the first set with a hitting percentage of .263.
Set 2
The second set was tight throughout the entire match. Late in the set with the score 21-20, The Lions took the momentum and scored the next four points straight including back-to-back kills by junior Taryn Driver to end the set 25-20.
Set 3
The Lions dominated set three much like they did in set one. The Lions went on a massive run late scoring six straight points. Summer Alford and Sydney Reyes found the floor two times each out of the last five Lion kills including the set point by Alford. Both Alford and Reyes had three kills in the third set as the Lions won 25-13 to complete the sweep over the Hilltoppers.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
The Lions ended the match with a .291 hitting percentage and had a .333 hitting percentage in the third set.
A&M-Commerce .291 hitting percentage is the highest of the 2015 season.
The Hilltoppers had a -.080 hitting percentage in the third set and had five total reception errors and blocking errors in the match.
