COMMERCE, Texas – The A&M-Commerce soccer team is set to host West Texas A&M in Lone Star Conference play on Friday evening, with the match to begin at 7 p.m. The Lions enter play at 7-5-2 overall and 3-1-2 in league play, while the Lady Buffs are 6-7-1 and 3-3-1 respectively.
 
The Series
- The Lady Buffs claim a 19-12-2 advantage in the all-time series, including a 7-4-1 mark at Lion Soccer Field.
- West Texas A&M also won the October 11 meeting between the two teams this season, earning a 2-1 victory in Canyon.
 
About the Lions (7-5-2, 3-1-2 LSC)
- The Lions are coming off a 1-0 road loss at the hands of 18th-ranked St. Edward's. A&M-Commerce never got in a rhythm offensively, taking only three shots the entire night, their lowest total of the year.
