Lions look ahead to Eastern New Mexico

COMMERCE, Texas – The Texas A&M-Commerce soccer team heads to Portales, New Mexico on Friday to take on Eastern New Mexico in Lone Star Conference play. The Lions enter at 5-3-2 overall, including a 1-0-2 mark in league action, while the Greyhounds are 3-6-1 and 0-3-0 respectively.

The Series
- The Lions claim a 14-2-1 all-time advantage against Eastern New Mexico, including a series-best nine-game winning streak.
- A&M-Commerce has won each of the last five meetings, outscoring the Greyhounds 11-2 in that span.
- The only two Greyhound victories in the series have come in Portales, but the Lions have won the last two meetings there.
 
About the Lions
- A&M-Commerce was one of two LSC teams (West Texas A&M) to defeat Eastern New Mexico in both 2014 meetings.
- The Lions have outscored LSC opponents 3-2 en route to a 1-0-2 record.
- The Lions rank 24th in the most recent edition (10/6) of the NSCAA Top 25 Poll.
