TURNING POINT- The Pioneers came out firing on all cylinders and never let the Lions lead through the first two sets. A Lion service error to end the first set gave the home team plenty of momentum to carry out the victory.

Set 3 (TWU, 25-21)- A&M-Commerce scored first for the first time all evening, but the Pioneers stormed back to retake a quick 6-2 lead.
- The Lions tied the game at 7-7 after a big kill from
Sydney Reyes.
- The two teams alternated points until TWU led 11-10 and started to pull away. The Pioneers scored six of the next seven points and went up 17-11.
- The Lions did their best to make a comeback and force a fourth set but came up just short.

- TWU has won their last four matches at home and their last six overall.
