PORTALES, N.M. – The A&M-Commerce soccer team came away with a 2-0 victory Friday evening, defeating Eastern New Mexico 2-0 in Lone Star Conference action. The Lions improve to 6-3-2 with the win, including a 2-0-2 mark in league play.

Turning Point - The Lions finally broke through in the 50th minute, when
Vicky Back turned a corner kick into her third goal of the season. Back took the corner herself, and the ball sailed straight in to the net off the far post.
Summary - Back's goal held up as the game winner, but
Jade Bell went on to add another score 18 minutes later.
Julia Hernandez earned the assist.
Inside the Box Score- The Lions are the only team in the LSC that has yet to suffer a conference loss this season.
