WICHITA FALLS – The A&M-Commerce women's golf team concluded competition at the Wichita Falls Country Club today, finishing 12th out of 16 teams.
Zoey Daneshfar led the Lions with a combined score of 171, finishing tied for 48th out of 84 golfers. Not far below Daneshfar on the leaderboard is
Ali Leasor, who carded a 174 to finish 53rd overall.
Emily Taylor tied for 54th with a score of 175,
Katy Goen snagged 59th with a 177, and
Emily White concluded the invite at 62nd overall with a score of 179.
Celeste Emeott competed as an individual and tied for 31st with a score of 164.
Midwestern State won their tournament with a team score of 617, West Texas finished second with a score of 624, and in third was the Academy of Art University with a 626. A&M-Commerce finished 12th with a team score of 695.
The Lions' next appearance is scheduled for March 23 & 24 at the 2015 Lions Classic, hosted by Arkansas-Fort Smith at the Hardscrabble Country Club in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
