Stephenville, Texas – The A&M-Commerce (18-16, 7-7) softball team travels to Tarleton State (18-14, 5-5) for a four-game LSC series at the Tarleton Softball Complex Friday and Saturday.
First pitch Friday's doubleheader is set for 5 p.m. with Saturday's twinbill slated for 1 p.m.
The Lions are coming off of series split against TWU, while the TexAnns enter after splitting a weekend set against then ranked No. 6 Angelo State.
Katelyn Connie leads Tarleton State with a .380 batting average and a team-high 34 RBI. In the circle, Brenna Hennan has a team-low 2.59 ERA in 27 innings pitched, while Haley Freyman has thrown the most innings, 127.2.

Tyler Oppenheim, who hit .617 in four games last weekend, leads the Lions into the series. Oppenheim is a .348 hitter, but
Magen Lynch leads the team with a .387 batting average.
Luci Ponce leads the team with 70 total bases highlighted by a team-high eight home runs. Ponce has driven in a team-high 31 runs.

Courtney Moore carries the lowest ERA at 2.86. She is 2-4 on the season with 11 appearances and seven games started.
In the LSC standings, the Lions hold the fifth spot at 7-7 in conference play, while the TexAnns are sixth at 5-5.
