COMMERCE, TEXAS – With the offseason in full swing, head volleyball
Craig Case announced this week the camp dates for the Lion summer camps.
Â
Case and the A&M-Commerce coaching staff will oversee two three-day camps, one for middle school and a second for high school attendees. Each camp will be conducted from July 7 through July 9. The middle school camp will have room to accommodate 70 kids, while the high school camp will be capped off once enrollment reaches 50.
Â
The first day for each camp will begin with check-in at 7 a.m., and will feature three separate court sessions scheduled around meals. The day will conclude with a special pool party before ending at 10 p.m. Day two will feature three more court sessions with a camp social taking place at the end of an informative day. The third and final day will feature two more court sessions before at last campers will check out and head home at 4 p.m.
Â
The goal of each camp is to increase knowledge and excitement about volleyball. Designed for girls of all skill levels, the staff will seek to impart both offensive and defensive strategy along wit the fundamental techniques of serving, passing, attacking and team play.
