Commerce, Texas – Fresh off its doubleheader sweep of Great American Conference opponent Southern Arkansas, A&M-Commerce will travel to play GAC member Harding on Thursday with first pitch of the doubleheader set for 2:30 p.m.
 
The Lions are 5-1 against GAC opponent this season and 11-7 when stepping out of the Lone Star Conference this season.
 
Harding (22-26) carries a .305 team batting average into the game and lead the GAC in stolen bases per game on the offensive end. A&M-Commerce (25-23) will bring a .298 batting average into the two-games Thursday.
 
The Bison statistically hold the advantage in the circle with a 3.43 team ERA, while the Lions staff holds a 4.21 team ERA.
 
Thursday's meeting marks the first leg of a home-and-home series. Harding will travel to Commerce and the John Cain Family Softball Field Saturday, April 25 at 1 p.m. for the Lions 2015 inaugural season finale.  Saturday's doubleheader will be Fan Appreciation Night with attendance to the two-game set free of charge.
