Commerce, Texas – A&M-Commerce head football coach Colby Carthel has announced his program's six camp dates at various locations with guest coaching appearances from notable programs such as Iowa State, Colorado State and Lamar during the summer.
 
The A&M-Commerce camp tour is great preparation and exposure for athletes looking to make the transition from high school football into the collegiate ranks by refining their skills on the gridiron.
 
The six-stop swing will be held at Trinity High School twice, A&M-Commerce's Memorial Stadium twice and at Lancaster High School and Mesquite High School once each.
 
Under the direction of the Lion coaching staff, A&M-Commerce has accounted for more wins in two seasons with Carthel at the helm since the 1991 and 1992 seasons.  A&M-Commerce smashed Lone Conference and school records en route to their second straight postseason appearance with the Heart of Texas Bowl. The Lions finished first in the NCAA in tackles for loss on the defensive end and in points per game offensively after knocking off East Central 72-21 in the bowl to conclude the season.  There will also be coaches from Iowa State, Colorado State, Lamar University, as well as various other coaches from collegiate programs.
