Jaslyn Wacker's kill and service ace in the fourth set lifted the team's energy to close out the set and match. The Lions dropped the first set but won three consecutive sets to win the match against Southeastern Oklahoma State.

HOW IT HAPPENEDSet 1After a 2-0 start by the Lions, Southeastern Oklahoma State went on two separate scoring runs of five and seven to take a commanding 11-3 lead. The Storm wont the set 25-17 with big performances from Maggie Benson and Abby Jameson who each had three kills in this set.
Set 2In a relatively close set, the Lions found themselves down 18-16.
Sydney Reyes made a big kill that sparked a four-point run to capture the lead 20-18. The Lions kept the momentum and won the set 25-22.
Set 3Down 7-3,
Courtney Tate ignited a six-point run to posses a 9-7 lead over the Savage Storm Later in the set,
Jaslyn Wacker recoded back to back kills which forced a Southeastern Oklahoma State timeout.
Courtney Tate kept the energy high after being responsible or assisting in three straight points that extended the Lions lead 16-10.
Sydney Reyes made a kill late to give the Lions match point with a score of 24-17. An attack error by Jessica Baker ended the set for the Storm and resulted in a Lions set victory.
Set 4Late in the set, two attack errors by Southeastern Oklahoma State gave the Lions a 19-17 lead. The Storm continued to fight and tied the game at 19 in hopes of forcing a fifth set. That was until freshman
Jaslyn Wacker made an enormous kill and service ace that gave the Lions a 21-19 lead and all of the momentum in Bloomer Sullivan Arena.
Sydney Reyes showed up again late in the set recording the final two kills to end the set 25-23 and match 3-1.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORESoutheastern Oklahoma State had six receiving errors to the Lions one.
Taryn Driver had a career single-match high of 18 kills and hitting percentage of .341
Shanon Park had a career single-match high of seven kills.
