Commerce, Texas- The Lions will faceoff against the Tarleton State on Friday, April 1 and Saturday, April 2 at John Cain Family Field.
 
The Lions and the TexAnn's have similar records with the Lion's sitting 26-12 overall and the TexAnn's at 21-18 overall.
 
Both teams are on a winning streak coming into the series and will make for a hard fought series.

Ciera Nunez leads in batting average for the Lion's starters with a .394 and an on base percentage of .471. She also has 24 stolen bases.
 
Baylea Higgs leads the Lions in hits with 42, and stolen bases with 28.
 
Cherie Jackson, Johnna Sturm and Luci Ponce continue to have hot bats for the Lions, the trio has 21 homers and 108 RBI combined.
 
From the circle Brittany Wooldridge leads the pitching staff in ERA with a 2.20.
 
Selena Rima has the hot hand for the pitching staff in strikeouts, with 84.
 
Haley Freyman for the TexAnn's has a 2.75 ERA from the circle and 90 strikeouts.
 
Alyssa Ringhausen leads her team in batting average with .438 after 32 at bats.
 
Katelyn Conlee has a batting average of .352 after 122 at bats.
 
Games start on Friday, April 1 at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. The series will continue on Saturday, April 2 at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
