SAN ANTONIO– The No. 9 Texas A&M University-Commerce softball team has announced a schedule change. Due to extreme cold temperatures, rain and player safety concerns, the remainder of the St. Mary's College Classic has been canceled. The Lions' games against Drury, Regis and Colorado School of Mines will not be rescheduled.
 
The Lions are currently 7-1 on the season after defeating St. Mary's and New Mexico Highlands yesterday in the first day of the St. Mary's College Classic. The Lions will now return home for their home opening series against No. 20 Arkansas Tech. The series is scheduled to be played on Wednesday, beginning at 3 p.m. at the John Cain Family Softball Field in Commerce. 

Season tickets for Lion Softball home games at the John Cain Family Softball Field are available for $70 with a total of 23 games spanning 14 different dates. Tickets can be purchased by visiting WeAreLionsTix.com, calling Lion Sales & Service at (903) 468-8756, or visiting the LSS Box Office in the Field House during business hours. Single game tickets can also be purchased at the gates.
