COMMERCE – Texas A&M University-Commerce softball team signed two freshmen from the class of 2024 on Wednesday as part of National Signing Day.
Second year coach
Brittany Miller welcomes Aaliyah Wilcox, a catcher and corner infielder, and Victoria Masters, a pitcher, as part of her first of her first full signing class as the Lion softball coach.
Both Wilcox and Masters will enroll at A&M-Commerce in the Fall of 2024 and be eligible to play for the Lions in 2025.

Wilcox earned first team all-region twice in her high school career … was named to the all-county team twice, including the first team once … she was also the Offensive MVP for her county … received the Coaches Award for Region 4 in Georgia and received the Academic award
Miller said, "We are excited about Aaliyah and her power at the plate. She is going to bring additional depth to the lineup and give us another option behind the plate and on the corners. She is a competitor and someone who is not afraid of hard work. We are looking forward to her leadership skills both on and off the field."

Masters was twice named to the all-league second team during her high school career
"Victoria has the true competitive spirit in the circle," said Miller. "She is looking for the next strike out and is determined. We are excited to add her in the circle and watch her grow and help elevate us in in the circle."
The Lions will announce the full schedule for the 2024 season in the coming weeks, which is A&M-Commerce's second season in NCAA Division I and the Southland Conference.
