BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. – Jordan Dusckas and
Benz Far-Arun are in the top 10 after 36 holes at The Atlantic Invitational on Monday on the West course of the Indian Spring Country Club.
The Lions hovered around the top of the leaderboard throughout the day and end the day tied for fifth as a team with a score of 573 along with Jacksonville State and Georgia State. The trio of teams is 11 strokes back of the leader, Florida Gulf Coast.
Dusckas (Flower Mound Marcus) carded a 68 in the morning and finished the day with a round of 71 for a total of 139. Far-Arun (Bangkok, Thailand) shot a 70 in the first round and birdied two of her final three holes in the second round for a round of 69. Both Lion golfers are tied for eighth place and four back of the leaders.
Marie Naeher (Neuenbuerg, Germany) is tied for 29
th with a score of 144 (69-75).
Henriette Stranda (Kraakstad, Norway) shot four strokes better in the second round to tie for 49
th place with a score of 151 (77-74), and
Michelle Becker (San Antonio – Reagan) is tied for 58
th place with a score of 155 (77-78).
The final round of the tournament begins with a shotgun start at 7:30 a.m. central on Tuesday morning.
