SUGAR LAND – Nathan McCulloch is tied for fourth and the Texas A&M University-Commerce men's golf team is tied for ninth place after Monday's two rounds at the Colin Montgomerie Invitational hosted at Sweetwater Golf Club.
 
McCulloch (Edinburgh, Scotland) carded a two-round score of 138. He shot a 68 in the morning round and finished the day with a 70. He is four strokes off the lead going into Tuesday's final round and five golfers tied for fourth.
 
Simon Haas (Lorch, Germany) is tied for 22^nd place with a score of 144 (71-73), Balint Zavaczki (Nyíregyháza, Hungary) is tied for 49^th place with a two-round score of 149 (77-72), while Chance Mulligan (Dallas – Bishop Dunne) is tied for 71^st place with a score of 155 (80-75).
 
Kittiphong Phaithuncharoensuk (Phuket, Thailand) shot a 76 in the morning round, but his second round score was disqualified as he signed a scorecard with the wrong score. Phaithuncharoensuk's scores in the first and third rounds will count towards his season averages, but he will finish last in this week's tournament.
 
Southeastern holds a three-stroke lead atop the team leaderboard with a score of 562 (276-286) over Weber State. A&M-Commerce (292-290) is tied with Omaha for ninth place with a score of 582.
 
The third and final round of the tournament begins with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday. Live results can be found HERE.
