MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Grover Page Classic closed out on Tuesday at the Links at Audubon, with the East Texas A&M University men's golf team finishing 14^th.
 
Central Arkansas rolled to a 14-stroke victory in the team standings, while the Lions posted a score of 861 in three rounds to fall two strokes back of Southern Indiana.
 
Individually, Tennessee Tech's Haden Maxwell totaled a three-round score of 202 (70-65-67) to win the individual title by two strokes. The top finisher for the Lions was Davis Seybert (Trinity – Midland), who tied for 13^th place with a score of 208 (69-68-71).
 
"Solid week once again for Davis!" said director of golf Brian Dolehide. "We are glad to have a few weeks before Arkansas State so we can put in some work as a team and get back on track."
 
Matt Walters (Ballito, South Africa) jumped up 12 spots in the leaderboard on Tuesday, finishing tied for 56^th place with a score of 216 (72-74-70). Janis Erll (Lich, Germany) totaled a score of 217 (72-72-73) to tie for 59^th place.
 
To round out the Lions, Nicke Kaajavirta (Kajaani, Finland) tied for 77^th place with a score of 221 (74-73-74) and Cooper Watt (Rockford, Ill.) posted a score of 227 (73-78-76), while Dayne Bachmeyer (Pflugerville – Weiss) competed as an individual, tying for 86^th place with a score of 224 (74-74-76).

The Lions are back on the course in a couple of weeks at the Bubba Barnett Intercollegiate on October 6-7 in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
