COMMERCE - Texas A&M University-Commerce football program announced a game at the University of Tulsa in 2026 on Friday afternoon. 

Tulsa, who currently plays in the American Athletic Conference, is the fourth Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) opponent that the Lions are scheduled to play since joining Division I. 

The game between the Lions and the Golden Hurricane is scheduled for September 19, 2026. 

The Lions begin the 2024 season at San Diego State and has six home games scheduled for the season inside Ernest Hawkins Field at Memorial Stadium.
