The Lions are in action in all but one week the rest of indoor season starting Friday's meet in College Station. Next week, the Lions take part in the Owen Hewett Invitational at Oklahoma. 
 
A LOOK AT THE LIONS
This is the first full indoor competition for the Lions this season as a select few distance runners took part in the Crimsold & Gold Invitational at Pittsburg State in December. This is the first time the Lions are competing at Texas A&M's Fasken Indoor Track & Field Facility. 
 
This year's indoor Southland Conference Championships return to the Crossplex in Birmingham, Alabama, on March 2-3.
 
The Lions are looking to build upon a fifth place finish at last season's SLC Championships and a sixth place finish on the women's side. All but three student-athletes that scored a point on the men's side for the Lions at last year's conference championships are back this season, while all but one point scorer on the women's side returns.
