FORT WORTH – Romi Griese's third place finish in the discus was the standout for the East Texas A&M University track and field team as the Lions began outdoor season on Friday at the TCU Alumni Invite.

WOMEN
Griese (Salzkotten, Germany) placed third in the discus with a mark of 161-6 (49.23m), which is currently top 10 in the west region. She also took 15
th in the hammer throw with a mark of 146-6 (44.65m) and
Ella Patterson (Kingsbridge, England) had a mark of 154-2 (47.01m) for 11
th.
MEN
Jeyden Coleman (Humble – Summer Creek) had a throw of 155-8 (47.45m) for eighth in the discus. In the hammer throw,
Dominic Escamilla (Brazoswood) took 10
th with a mark of 149-6 (45.58m), while Coleman took 13
th with a mark of 135-5 (41.28m).
In the high jump,
Isaac Livingston (Life Waxahachie) cleared 5-10.75 (1.80m), which was tied for 10
th, but he placed 11
th based on attempts.
