Ozlo Rigby has been named to the Fred Mitchell Award watch list for one of the most prestigious awards for a kicker in college football.
The Fred Mitchell Award is given to the top kicker in NCAA Division I FCS, II, III, NAIA, NJCAA, or 3C2A, based on performance on the football field and in the classroom.
Rigby (Panama City, Fla.) is one of two kickers from the Southland Conference to be named to the midseason watch list. This season, Rigby is 11 for 16 in field goal attempts, hitting five kicks over 30 yards, including the longest kick being 47 yards. He is also 36 for 37 in point-after attempts.
