COLLEGE STATION – Two top three finishes on Saturday highlighted the Charlie Thomas Invitational for the East Texas A&M University track & field teams on Saturday at the Fasken Indoor Track & Field complex.

WOMEN
The Lion women's 4x400 meter relay squad came in seventh with a time of 3:46.80.
Blessing Samuel (Ghana) jumped 38-1.25 (11.61m) for 13
th in the triple jump and
Amaka Ezukanma (Fort Worth – Timber Creek) placed 14
th with a mark of 37-8.75 (11.50m).
Veronika Kramarenko (Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine) cleared 5-10 (1.78m) for second in the high jump.
MEN
Kingsley Ayebide (Sapele, Nigeria) clocked in at 6.82 seconds for ninth in the 60 meter dash, while
Enoch Fosuhene (Accra, Ghana) timed 6.85 seconds for 11
th. Ayebide missed the finals by 0.005 seconds.
In the one mile run,
Josh Shanahan (Noosaville, Australia) finished ninth with a time of 4:10.37.
Evan Ealy (Klein Collins) timed 8.41 seconds for eighth in the 60 meter hurdles.
Philip Krenek (Prague, Czech Republic) finished 11
th in the 400 meter dash with a personal-best time of 47.65 seconds.
The day closed out with the 4x400 meter relay team finishing third with a time of 3:13.14, the best time for the Lions this season. In field events,
Xak Edwards (Greenville) cleared 6-4.75 (1.95m) for ninth in the high jump.
