GLASGOW, Scotland – East Texas A&M University track and field coach George Pincock is headed across the pond to serve as the team coach for Ghana at the 2026 Commonwealth Games from July 22-August 2.
 
The Commonwealth Games are a multi-sport international event, similar to the Olympics, involving athletes from the Commonwealth of Nations. The games take place every four years and are in the United Kingdom for the second straight time.
 
Pincock will serve as a team coach for the athletics (track and field) portion of the games for Team Ghana. He has previously served in that role for Ghana at last year's World Athletics Championships.
