LONG BEACH, Calif. – Myles Redding and 
Amaka Ezukanma recorded top 10 finishes on Friday at the Beach Invitational for the East Texas A&M University track and field team, who also took part in the Bryan Clay Invitational.
 
MEN
Josh Shanahan (Noosaville, Australia) clocked in at 3:50.52 for 43
rd in the open 'B' section of the 1,500 meter run and 
Nicholas Deutsch (Frisco) finished 64
th in the open 'A' section with a time of 3:49.65 at the Bryan Clay Invitational.
 
Over at the Long Beach Invitational, Redding (Waco – University took third in the 800 meter run with a time of 1:55.94.
 
WOMEN
At the Beach Invitational, Ezukanma (Fort Worth – Timber Creek) jumped 18-0.5 (5.50m) for fourth in the long jump. 
Anete Randma (Tallinn, Estonia) finished 124
th in the 1,500 meter run with a time of 4:36.82 over at the Bryan Clay Invitational.
 
UP NEXT
The Lions end the weekend in California on Saturday by taking part in the Mt. SAC Relays and ending the Beach Invitational.
