AUSTIN and
SAN MARCOS – On a day plagued with inclement weather delays and cancellations, the East Texas A&M University track and field teams closed out the Texas Relays and the Bobcat Invitational on Saturday.
Enoch Fosuhene (Accra, Ghana) was the lone Lion to compete at the Texas Relays on Saturday. He took sixth in the men's 100 meter dash with a time of 10.38 seconds and he closed out the meet with a time of 20.81 seconds in the men's 200 meter dash for ninth.
The Bobcat Invitational was canceled due to weather with three races and a field event left to be completed.
Tina Samson (Benin, Nigeria) timed 15.31 seconds in the 100 meter hurdles for 28
th.
Evan Ealy (Klein Collins) finished 18
th in the men's 110 meter hurdles with a time of 14.86 seconds and
Cash Goodman (Blue Ridge) clocked in at 15.31 seconds for 22
nd.
Roane Lion (Georgetown – East View) finished 28
th with a time of 57.25 in the women's 400 meter dash.
Myles Redding (Waco – University) ran a time of 46.81 seconds for third in the men's 400 meter dash.
In the final race to be completed before the meet was canceled,
Savannah Harvey (Shawnee, Kan.) clocked in at 12.710 seconds for 13
th in the women's 100 meter dash.
