FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – East Texas A&M women's track and field runner
Sanae Hassnaoui broke her own school record on Friday at the Arkansas Twilight as the Lions closed out their regular season at John McDonnell Field.

MEN
Evan Ealy (Klein Collins) led the Lions with a time of 14.64 seconds for sixth in the 110 meter hurdles, followed by
Cash Goodman (Blue Ridge) in seventh with a time of 14.91 seconds,
RJ Fannin (Princeton) timed 15.50 seconds for ninth and
Joshua Nate (Geneva School of Boerne) timed 16.31 seconds for 10
th.
In the 400 meter dash,
Cam Wooley (Frisco – Liberty) finished 10
th with a time of 49.45 seconds.
Jayshon Hardimon (Lake Dallas) took 10
th in the 100 meter dash with a time of 10.62 seconds and
Kingsley Ayebide (Burutu, Nigeria) had a time of 10.64 seconds for 11
th.
Enoch Fosuhene (Accra, Ghana) took fourth in the 200 meter dash with a time of 20.58 seconds.
Jeyden Coleman (Humble – Summer Creek) placed third in the discus with a mark of 157-11 (48.13m) and Nate recorded a mark of 113-8 (34.66m).
Jammel Ward (Royse City) jumped 25-3.25 (7.70m) for the top mark in the long jump, while Nate jumped 20-8.5 (6.31m) for fifth.
In the shot put, Coleman threw a personal-best mark of 50-10.75 (15.51m).
Parker Williams (Decatur) cleared 15-3.5 (4.66m) to tie for sixth in the pole vault.
Calen Jones (Duncanville) cleared 6-8.25 (2.04m) for fourth in the high jump to close out the meet.
WOMEN
The Lions started the day on the track with the 4x100 meter relay squad timing 45.03 seconds to win the race.
Edith Martinez (Sulphur Springs) clocked in at 11:33.93 for third in 3,000 meter steeplechase.
In the 100 meter hurdles,
Sandy Sakyi (Bremen, Germany) had a personal-best time of 13.47 seconds for fifth, followed by
Bre'Anna Lacy (Life Waxahachie) in eighth with a personal-best time of 14.35 seconds, and
Kayla Effiong (DeSoto) clocking in a personal-best time of 14.54 seconds for 10
th.
Niamh Le'Gall (Wallasey, England) took seventh in the 400 meter dash with a time of 54.84 seconds.
Sydnee Wilson (Lewisville) had a time of 11.94 seconds for sixth,
Savannah Harvey (Shawnee, Kan.) took ninth with a time of 12.24 seconds, and
Mackenzie Giles (Allen) timed 12.25 seconds for 10
th.
Hassnaoui (Midelt, Morocco) ran a personal-best time of 2:04.60 for fifth in the 800 meter dash, breaking her own school record from two weeks ago.
Two Lions finished in the top 10 in the 200 meter dash with
Leah Pettis (McKinney – North) timing 24.52 seconds for seventh and Giles clocking in at 24.70 seconds for ninth.
Over in the field events,
Romi Griese (Salzkotten, Germany) threw 157-11 (48.15m) for second in the discus and
Ella Patterson (Kingsbridge, England) had a mark of 106-4 (32.43m) for seventh.
Evelyn Cortes (Bogota, Columbia) had a personal-best mark of 116-11 (35.65m) for third in the javelin.
Peyton Berry (Argyle) and
Kira van den Ham (Bunnik, The Netherlands) cleared 12-5.5 (3.80m) each to tie for third in the pole vault.
In the long jump,
Rivka Goede (Curacao) jumped 18-8.5 (5.70m) for fourth in the long jump and
Blessing Samuel (Accra, Ghana) recorded a mark of 17-8.25 (5.39m) for ninth. Cortes threw 39-4 (11.99m) for eighth in the shot put.
