COMMERCE – The East Texas A&M University cross country team released its 2026 season schedule on Monday morning.
The Lions are scheduled to take part in three regular season races, followed by the Southland Conference Championships and the NCAA Regional Championships in the postseason.
The season begins on September 11 at the Gerald Richey Invitational in Fort Worth, which is hosted by UT Arlington.
The next race comes in Stillwater, Oklahoma, on September 25 at the Cowboy Jamboree, hosted by Oklahoma State. The final race of the regular season is the Chile Pepper Festival in Fayetteville, Arkansas, on October 3.
This year's Southland Championships are hosted in Lake Charles, Louisiana, on October 30. The NCAA South Central Regional Championships come on November 13, which are hosted in College Station.
The top qualifiers at the regional championships will be in consideration for the NCAA National Championships, scheduled for November 21 in Terre Haute, Indiana.
