2011: Saw action in six games for A&M-Commerce, mostly on special teams ... Returned four kickoffs on the year, tallying 34 yards with a season-long of 14 yards against Ouachita Baptist (Sept. 22).

2010: Redshirted the 2010 season.

Prior to A&M-Commerce: Attended Prairie View A&M as a freshman, where he redshirted in his initial season ... A four-sport athlete at Keller High School, where he was a four-year starter at safety/linebacker on the football team...made a team-best 124 tackles as a senior ...  Recognized as the team's defensive MVP and first team all-district ... Had a career-best 18 tackles, forced a fumble and picked off a pass against rival Fossil Ridge ... Lettered twice in basketball and baseball, in addition to football.

Personal: Born January 31, 1990 ... Son of Larry Horne Sr. and Bridge Horne ... Plans to major in construction science.
