Commerce, Texas – The A&M-Commerce softball team will return to the John Cain Family Softball Field with a four-game Lone Star Conference series against Texas Woman's Friday and Saturday.
The Lions (16-14, 5-5) are coming off of a four-game series against then ranked No. 1 West Texas. The Lions took a game in the series from the Buffs and ended WT's 56-week streak at the top spot as the Buffs fell to No. 2.
Magen Lynch leads the team with .415 batting average, while
Luci Ponce follows with a .711 slugging percentage. Ponce and Rivers are tied for the team lead with 29 RBI each, while Ponce has knocked a team-high seven homers.

Courtney Moore has come on strong for the Lions. She leads the team with a 2.77 ERA after making nine appearances and five starts.
