NATIONAL AND CONFERENCE RECOGNITION
For the second time this season,
Alyssa LeBlanc (Katy) was selected as the Lone Star Conference Pitcher of the Week on March 21 after 18.2 shutout innings with 32 strikeouts. She was also named the conference's top pitcher on February 22 and selected as the NFCA Pitcher of the Week that day as well.
Emily Otto (Lamar Consolidated) has also earned an LSC Pitcher of the Year award this season.
Sabrina Anguiano (Riverside, Calif.) was named the Louisville Slugger/NFCA Player of the Week as well as the Lone Star Conference Hitter of the Week on March 15. She batted .909 with three home runs and seven RBIs in four games against Western New Mexico and UT Permian Basin.

NATIONAL RANKINGS
The Lions are ranked No. 19 in the NFCA rankings, not moving up or going down despite no games last week due to Easter. The Lions have been ranked in all but one poll this season and have seven wins over teams that are currently nationally ranked.
A LOOK AT THE LIONS
The Lions are 33-11 on the season, matching the win total of last season with a split at St. Mary's last week. In their last four games, the Lions went 2-2 at St. Edward's and at the Rattlers. With six games left in LSC play, the Lions are in fourth place with a conference record of 18-6.
A&M-Commerce has totaled 53 home runs, which is 11
th in the country and 75 doubles are 16
th. The Lions have stolen 121 bases, which is seventh.
Sabrina Anguiano (Riverside, Calif.) is batting .402, while
MacKenzie Dugi (St. Hedwig – East Central) is batting .363.
LeBlanc has team-leading 10 home runs, followed by nine from
Ayanna Williams, eight from
Uxua Modrego, and seven from Anguiano. LeBlanc has 33 RBIs, while
Madison Schaefer (Frisco – Independence) has 31 and Williams leads the way with 42.
Leo Terry (Emory – Rains) has 24 stolen bases and
Samantha Dutton (Tulsa, Okla.) has 17.
In the circle, Otto is pitching to an earned run average of 2.31 with a record of 16-3 and has 132 strikeouts. LeBlanc also has 132 punch outs and has an ERA of 3.09, posting a record of 11-6.
Destiny Vasquez (Norwalk, Calif.) has an ERA of 3.55 in 10 appearances, holding opposing batters to hit .229.

The Lions host Cameron on Friday at 4 & 6 p.m. and Oklahoma Christian as part of Senior Day on Sunday at noon & 2 p.m.
SCOUTING THE REDDIES
Henderson State is 12-34 on the season and 9-18 in Great American Conference games. The Reddies have played seven games against LSC teams this season and are 0-7. The Reddies and the Lions are playing for the first time in program history on Wednesday.
Madison Treutlein is batting .354 with 15 RBIs and one home run. Abbie Moore has team-leading eight home runs and 22 RBIs. Monica Monreal has 20 RBIs. Brooke Johnson is pitching to an ERA of 4.18 in 11 starts, while Savannah Carrigan has made 17 starts and has four of the 12 wins with 78 strikeouts.
