NEWTON, Kan. – The Texas A&M University-Commerce men's golf team is in 13^th place after two rounds on Monday at the Grier Jones Shocker Invitational on the Sand Creek Station Golf Course.
 
Chance Mulligan (Dallas – Bishop Dunne) leads the way for the Lions with a score of 142 (72-70), being tied for 21^st. With a score of 144 (73-71), Sam Benson (Gilmer – New Diana) is tied for 32^nd place.
 
Seth Graber (Wylie) and Logan Johnson (Byron Nelson) are both tied for 50^th place with a score of 150, while Balint Zavaczki (Nyíregyháza, Hungary) is in 81^st place with a score of 154 (73-81).
 
Wichita State has a five-stroke lead over Rice in the team leaderboard with a score of 556. The Lions have a team score of 582, being four strokes back of Drake and Denver, and three strokes ahead of Air Force. There is a five-way tie at the top of the player leaderboard with a score of 135.
 
The third and final round of the tournament begins with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. on Tuesday.
