MIDLAND – The East Texas A&M University men's golf team stands fifth through two rounds at the Tall City Collegiate at the Midland Country Club, totaling 572 after matching rounds of 286 on Monday.
 
Cooper Watt (Rockford, Ill.) leads the way for the Lions, being in a tie for fourth at 140 after consecutive 70s, while Daniel Ferguson (Duncanville) is tied for 12th at 142. Brady Mann (Bridgeport) is tied for 34^th at 146.
 
Jace Chaney (Rockford, Ill.) is tied for 28^th at 145 with rounds of even-par 72 and 1-over 73 and Axel Larsen (Sarpsborg, Norway) is tied for 41^st, totaling a score of 148 on Monday.
 
In the team standings, Northern Colorado holds a one-stroke lead over New Mexico State and there is a three-way tie atop the player leaderboard between Odessa College's Cole Self, Midland College's Oskar Falshoj, and Northern Colorado's Kaelen Dulany with matching scores of 138.
