SAN ANTONIO – Henriette Stranda turned in an impressive performance in her first collegiate postseason round for the Texas A&M University-Commerce women's golf on Monday at the Hill Country Golf Club. Stranda is in third place after the first round of the Southland Conference Championships.
Stranda (Kraakstad, Norway) shot a 75 on Monday to be in third place overall and four strokes off the leader, UIW's Alex Giles. HCU holds a six-stroke lead in the team standings over UIW. The Lions are in sixth place with a team score of 325, a stroke back of Lamar and nine strokes ahead of Bryant.
Following Stranda,
Benz Far-Arun (Bangkok, Thailand) is tied for 20
th place with a score of 82,
Jordan Dusckas (Flower Mound Marcus) is tied for 23
rd with a score of 83.
Marie Naeher (Neuenbuerg, Germany) shot an 85 and is tied for 29
th place and
Michelle Becker (San Antonio – Reagan) is in 34
th place after shooting an 88.
The Lions and Bryant are matched up together once again on Tuesday with the first group teeing off at 8 a.m. Live scoring can be found

Carly Whittington (Kinder, La.) has been subsituted into the lineup for the Lions, replacing Becker and will tee off at 8 a.m. Naeher follows at 8:10 a.m., Ducskas at 8:20 a.m., Far-Arun at 8:30 a.m., and Stranda at 8:40 a.m.
