LUBBOCK – Tamara Susa finished second in the javelin for the Texas A&M University-Commerce women's track and field team this past weekend at the Corky/Crofoot Shootout at Texas Tech.
Susa (Novi Sad, Serbia) was the lone competitor for the Lions in the meet and threw a mark of 144 feet 7 inches (44.07m) in her third throw, which put her in second. The nine-thrower field included three student-athletes from Oklahoma and one from Texas Tech.

Susa and the rest of the Lions close out their first Division I season this weekend by hosting the Southland Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Memorial Stadium.
