COMMERCE – The East Texas A&M University men's golf team has unveiled the schedule for the 2025 spring season on Monday morning.
The Lions are slated to compete in five tournaments in the spring before closing out the season at the Southland Conference Championships. In the fall, the Lions finished in the top five in three of the four tournaments.
The spring season begins on February 10-11 at the Bentwater Intercollegiate in Montgomery, which is jointly hosted by Rice and Sam Houston. After a week off, the Lions take part in the Gulf Coast Collegiate in Algiers, Louisiana, on February 24-25, hosted by New Orleans.
The first of two competitions in the month of March comes on March 3-4 at the Colin Montgomerie Invitational in Sugar Land, hosted by HCU. The next weekend, the Lions participate in the UTRGV Match Play on March 10-11 in McAllen.
The final tournament prior to the conference championships is the Arkansas State Spring Invitational on April 14-15 in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
The Southland Conference Championships return to Comanche Trace Golf Club in Kerrville on April 21-23 to close out the 2024-25 season.
