Chance Mulligan had the second-lowest score in the second round of the Southland Conference Championships on Tuesday at the Comanche Trace Golf Club.
Mulligan (Dallas – Bishop Dunne) shot a 68 on Tuesday, being among six golfers to shoot under a 70 on Tuesday. He rose 23 spots in the player leaderboard, which is the biggest climb in the tournament thus far. He is tied for 21
st with a score of 149 (81-68).
On the team leaderboard, Augusta built a 10-stroke lead over Lamar with a score of 563. The Lions' score of 621 is seven back of Nicholls. The Jaguars' Cole Stevens has the individual lead by five strokes with a score of 135.
Sam Benson (Gilmer – New Diana) is tied for 37
th with a score of 157 (77-80),
Balint Zavaczki (Nyíregyháza, Hungary), is 41
st with a score of 158 (78-80), while
Dayne Bachmeyer (Pflugerville – Weiss) holds a score of 159 (78-81) to be in a tie for 42
nd, and
Blake Taylor (Mansfield) is a stroke back with a total of 160 (81-79) to tie for 44
th.
